Whittlehouse Studio respects your privacy and manages personal information according to the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This document explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you may access or remove it.
Information we collect
When you send a booking form, email, or call, we receive only the details necessary to process your request: your name, contact number, email address, and optionally your notes about preferred dates or experience level. No payment information is stored on our website or local systems.
How we use the data
Your details help us manage workshop bookings, send confirmation messages, and update you about changes or cancellations. Occasionally we may share scheduling updates or new course openings with those who previously attended. You can opt out of any non-essential messages at any time.
Storage and security
Data is stored on password-protected devices within the studio office. Access is limited to instructors responsible for scheduling and administration. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with any third party. If technical support is required for our website, external developers access only anonymous usage logs, never personal entries.
Retention period
Booking records are reviewed every twelve months. Information related to concluded sessions is securely deleted after that review unless ongoing communication is requested by you.
Your rights
You may request to view, amend, or delete your data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within one month as required by law. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom.
